I am taking a real estate class and this is the recommended book. It is written clearly and concisely. I like that at the end of each chapter there are practice questions and at the end there is a final exam. I am taking this class online and the book has been a huge study aid.I will be using this book to help me study for the real estate license exam and it will come in handy for reference.
I just completed my online real estate course and end of course online exam. I used a school that uses recampus and this book is verbatim to the online course content. At first I started the online course, without opening the book. By chapter 3, I couldn't handle reading the computer any longer (there is no audio, no video.. Just you and your computer screen) and in search of relief, decided to check out the book. I ended up old school reading the physical book with highlighter in hand and would click through the online course just to get to the end of section/chapter quizzes.Without the book there is no way I would have ever completed the online course. There is just so much information and not being able to physically review the content and flip through pages would have been near impossible for me.So yes, for online courses, this book is a must. All of the end of course exam questions were somewhere in the book, no missing content. You really need to read it, understand it.. And be able to actually apply it in order to pass.I can't comment on the state licensing exam value of the book because I'm not there yet, all I know is without the book I wouldn't have made it this far.
I bought this book to help me prepare for the licensing exam. I took an online course (will not name it) and the information and materials were so poorly organized that after finishing the course I did not feel qualified to take the exam. So I researched online and found this book. I'm almost done with it, and feel much better about my knowledge and expertise in real estate. I wish my course used this as a textbook. I will update this review again once I take the exam.Update 5/3/16: I passed! The exam was actually a lot easier than the questions in this book. After reading this book and doing the practice exams, you should feel confident going in to the exam.

Enjoyed this book. It was for a college class. I received an A in the class. I also would qualify to take the state exam, if I wanted to. I just wanted to get the college credits, though.
Looks like it has good content but where is the Answer Key to the practice questions?Edited review to four stars for including the link!
