We hike in Forest Park every weekend and this book has been an excellent resource. Highly recommend! It's definitely inspired us to try different trail heads and get more variety in our walks.

We went for a hike in Forest Park and my daughter and son-inlaw had this book, they said we could borrow it, but it was so good that as soon as we got home I went online and ordered my very own. If you like to hike in Portland then I recommend you get this book. I really like that it has nature identification sections also. Real photos.
