Using the kindle app, the standard image and the age do not appear on the same screen. It is therefore difficult to determine if the age screen references the previous image or the following one. The only way to resolve is it to go to the beginning or the end of the standards chapter to match up the age screen with the appropriate image screen and then apply this across the e-book. It would much easier for the age to appear on each of the standard images page.
I am enjoying sharing with my students. I want a similar text concerning the pelvis.
No CD arrived with this book. Can a CD be mailed to me?
Its a great atlas based in the renowned greulich y pyle atlas but the dvd doesnt work so prevents me from giving a full five star's review

The CD that comes with book will not load. Calling the publisher is a waste of time. They cannot help and don't know anything technical to help. The big selling point to the book is the CD so don't waste money or time on this.
This is a fantastic time saving tool for any radiologist who reads bone age studies: easy, quick and actually kind of fun (and way better than trying to match to pages in a book). I'm in an academic center and we use it pretty much daily; residents love it, too. Had no problems installing it on multiple different workstations of a variety of configurations.
We have used this product over two years and like it very much. Installed on our workstations for easy access, it points out differences between different standards and no need to look up standard deviations. The structured reports are quick.A previous reviewer commented on failed install of "CD" though the disc we received is a DVD. We didn't have trouble installing on Win XP and 7, perhaps their difficulty was through trying a DVD on a CD drive? Another thought is that hospital PC's often need administrator privileges to install and set "write permissions". Hard to speculate further.
